Overview
As it is expected that the selected projects could be at varying stages of implementation, each project will receive assistance targeted to their needs.
It is intended that those selected will receive some or all of the following:
- Assistance with feasibility study
- Assistance with cost benefit analysis
- Assistance with other non capital expenses that could stall the project such as RMA, consent applications, drafting services, specialty consulting such as acquisition of datasets and data analysis
- Assistance to facilitate and progress the project through the provision of a network of professional expertise and support that complements the project team including but not exclusive to specialist legal, financial, public relations, marketing, strategic planning and project management expertise. This will be limited to a maximum of 50 days of professional services per project
- Significant public profile for their project
- Access to university expertise
- Ability to leverage the momentum created by this initiative to lobby for Central Government support alongside the V5 team and others involved in key projects
Many of these services have been offered on a pro bono basis in an effort to provide access to expertise and resources, the absence of which may delay progress significantly or prevent the project from progressing at all.
Applications will go through the following process:
Stage One
- Submission of preliminary Application
- Stage one assessment to determine up to 20 projects with the highest average score
If selected as to proceed to stage two.
Stage Two
- Completion of Storyboard information (outline will be supplied at stage two to applicants)
- Completion of full Business Case (template to be provided)
- Stage two assessment and judging to determine final top five successful projects
